"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where you go..."
-Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!
Dr. Seuss never mentioned how hard it is to decide where to go. Jake and I are getting ready to leave St. Thomas, wanting to be somewhere outside the hurricane belt by the end of July. We are excited to travel and see new places, but we aren't sure where we want to go. There are so many options, and three different directions that are in discussion.
We are researching different islands and countries, learning what we need for each place to bring dogs in etc. Each country could have totally different regulations, but most are similar. We do know there are a few islands we will need to avoid because their regulations are unrealistic for our timeline.
Roughly 20 days... the countdown is on.
So to all those who are asking... We are undecided. There are a few things that are up in the air that could be a deciding factor on direction, but until we hear back...we just know we will go... somewhere.
